Plot
I had a little bit of trouble with the predictability of this one. Maybe it was just me and my intense television watching skills, but I didn't find any aspect of it particularly surprising - it just seemed to chug along churning out one obvious scenario after another. That said, I didn't think that it was bad, either - just not spectacular. Jane's sprained ankle was a bit of a strange side plot; it seemed to have no point and was never really concluded, and neither was the whole flirting bit with Rafael, so maybe that will be brought to a head in later episodes. I found this very plain, not brilliant and not terrible either.
Music
I hardly noticed it. Not very good, not very bad, just in the middle. Certain themes stuck out to me as ones which have been common throughout the show, but other than that I didn't find it stayed in my head at all.
Acting
Like the rest of this episode, it was very plain and basically average. I did find that the three girls were very good in their interrogation scenes, which I enjoyed mostly because of that. Irritating Barrista was, like last episode, frustratingly wooden and monotone in everything she said.
Scenery
Quite basic, including most of the usual suspects. The hospital was a new addition, but I hate hospitals so I can't say I thought it was a good one. It is nice to shake things up, though, so that was good. The driver's ed shed was also new but not particularly exciting and solely case-related, so we won't be seeing that again.
Sexism
Didn't really notice any. The male teacher was a pedophile, even though the majority of male teachers are not, however that's not really sexist, just something which can happen, and obviously in this situation did happen. Sometimes it's easy to forget that TV shows, particularly crime shows, don't provide a wide view of human nature - they're looking almost exclusively at the worst of humanity, so you can't take a character and say they represent all people like them.
