Overview
Somewhere in New York lives a super immortal medical examiner called Henry Morgan. His deal seems to be that every time he dies, he wakes up in the closest body of water, naked, and awkwardly alive again. Why? Nobody knows. And nobody knows about Henry, either, except for his friend Abe and Detective Jo Something, who doesn't know yet but obviously will know before the season is out. Police forensic procedural with a fun immortality subplot. (Information taken solely from the trailer. Not my fault if the facts are wrong.)
Stuff
I'm not quite sure why I'm watching this show, because at first glance it seems like something that would make me go 'eh' and move on. It could be because I've always liked Ioan Gruffudd since he was in 102 Dalmations, and, really, he has a great surname. I think it's also partly because the only immortality I've been seeing lately has been bloody vampires and I'd like to view immortality with fresh eyes.

Today's Header
Taken from the trailer, because there is no latest episode. I feel bad for the random blond European girl, who died horribly (we assume) and yet was clearly only there to prove a point. And was followed by humourous jokes about naked people. Hm.
